Eduardo is often meditating to ambient music in the Dkult labrynth, or at least that is what has been reported. I think he would be open to it --an open mind is a Dkult mind

It's just - not everyone can go to Portugal. (KDJ, for instance, might have some problems trying to get out of the USA at this point.)

If Eduardo were willing to do it, could he screen everything people sent him?

I think Itz has the skills we have been looking for to bring Trashpo to the biggish screen.  We attracted the attention of the Rifle, Co Community Center Recycling Education Film Festival, but had to decline. I say we definately hold this festival at DKULTPortugal.  Eduardo IS the only known Dkulter with a Dkult tshirt. We are sure his modeling has boosted recruitment. They might join for the wrong reasons, but they always stay for the right ones.  I think TOXIS..the movie would be an amazing futuristic thriller. not a Matrix knock off, but high action and adventure.

A Trashpo Film Festival is a very good idea. DK's first International Trashpo Exhibition in Elgin seemed to work very well, except that most people were absentee.

And, of course, the first International MinXus Exhibition occurred simultaneously across the globe in people's refrigerators for 15 minutes.

There are ways to do this. I think the Trashpo Film Festival is an idea to be taken seriously.

I'm thinking we should put a Trashpo Film Festival on the map! I think the perfect place to have the festival would be in Eduardo Cardoso's hometown of Sines, Portugal! Great town, right on the ocean, great climate ... the perfect place!

Thanks, Martha. DKULTUK ensured Diane's 12th award and obviously has some influence.

The nomination has been officially forwarded to THE COMMITTEE. That another heavy hitter, Richard Canard (aka Craven we are told by Jennifer Kosharek) has voiced reservations concerning the video could make this a difficult choice. A unanimous vote is already a near-impossibility.

I gather from the positive comments the majority of the folks are in ltvs's corner. But then we have already been reminded once today that DKult is not a democracy.

Only time will tell.

I second the nomination!

If DK's "Trashpo Selection Process" is the "Birth of a Nation" of Cinema Trashpo, then surely ltvs's video is the "Battleship Potemkin."

Pageants - DKult events are called pageants. I'll explain more about this later.

All this praise for the video - well then, I officially nominate ltvs (and DK) for a TrashPo Litzer Prize for the glitch video in the Cinema Trashpo Category, which never gets enough entries. ltvs has never received a TrashPo Litzer, to my knowledge anyway.

When someone organizes the DKULT film festival, I will most definitely enter Diane's "Glitches"!
