School is back in session so I have been remiss in posting as frequently as I'd like. Same with creating my own work. Ideas percolate and then I find myself caught up in another task. Andrea McNeil's found art collage cover reminds me that art is everywhere to be discovered - and made from cast off objects, rubbish and the refuse in my bag or wallet.Dropped in a puddle enroute, the smear and destruction only adds a patina of charm. It is as if art survives - despite the environmental conditions.

The reverse boasts a self-promo tag and some wonderful handmade Cinderellas by AMcN. A stamp imprint I know well cancels them c/o Paris and the legal tender stamp of an old King Class train is a welcome edition to this work. Charming, destructive, delicate and broken - all good attributes for an artist.
