Laurence had sent me a beautiful "boîte de curiosités" a few weeks ago (still need to blog...), and I hadn't the time to respond in kind at the moment, so I sent her these postcards in the meantime. I made them for "postcrossing.com" from various images I've collected. 2 I've done nothing to but printed on cream coloured, laid cardstock (the backs are cool - I printed old/yellowed 19th cent. "carte postale" backs), others I've embellished a tad and there are a few digital collages. Smaller versions of some of the images will no doubt pop-up as they seem apropos... I generally try to send things to people which respond to their profile/things they like/are interested in...an attempt to bring a wee bit o' charm into their day...

@De Villo: now this lil' slew could easily conform to the Dickens reference indeed! %_^
