I used some of my photos from the Albany Bulb to create that piece. The Albany Bulb was a dumping ground for construction debris on the east shore of the San Francisco Bay near Albany, California. In the 1980s, the local residents had the area cleaned up and turned into a park.

Artists are encouraged to use the concrete chunks, wood, and rebar as raw materials for their work. Since the park is so exposed, the artworks have a short lifespan. I visit periodically to take pictures and preserve those moments in time. Some of my favorite artworks from 2005 and 2006 no longer exist!

I've made postcards and several sets of artistamps and stickers from my photos. I love "street art!"
