The rea is Etoliko Island, my home town - Greece. This map reminds a human figure with a red sign in his neck! Avesome! Thank you David.

I know  the right side of this map. But i like the other "means" of images - art give us freedom!

they got one of the Rothko's upside down at a Tate Modern show in London a couple of years  back !

Oh dear...it's upside down...."etoliko" is supposed to be the hair tie of a woman. At least that was my conception. But I guess this is as open to interpretation as anything else... The small barely visible circle is where Michalis lives on Konstantin Laskari street....

That is amazing, Michali! David Stafford was able to minimalize the map to human form! Great work, David!

I never notice what forms and shapes maps could become...a whole series of map-man figures could be developed! I have Aitoliko (Etoliko Island) like a "pearl" on the figure's neck, and Mesolonghi becomes "to mati" on a bracelet. And look at all those komboloi beads  above the hand to our right ;-) David's mail art inspires!
