Received from Cheryl Penn, South Africa--Veiled Woman Takes Dog for a Walk

A visual and tactile piece, multi-layered to evoke a surreal setting for woman and dog, as well as ponder the significant difference between solitude and loneliness: one you choose, the other you don't. The untidy thread work adds a appealing quality. Cheryl's work is reminiscent of artist Maggie O'Sullivan, in particular, her piece "Brokenness is at the Centre of our Being". Namaste, Cheryl. This piece is gorgeous.

Namaste Bifidus - I didn't want to say - but Maggie O'Sullivan - thank you - what a compliment.
