Postcards with an important purpose

I've been sending mail art postcards out into the world for a long time. And I think Mail and Mail Art is VERY important to improving the world.

And now I've another purpose for sending out postcards. I've become a member of a group sending out postcards to voters. www.postcardstovoters.org to get out the vote. 

It's very satisfying and is keeping me sane-ish in an insane world.

There are so many troubles in so many places in the world. I've heard from one friend in Venezuela but not from another, which worries me, as things are very bad there. 

And my friends in Puerto Rico, which has suffered so much.

Not to mention what's going on in Syria.

And my big heart ache, the separation of children from parents because of my own governments delusions about protection. 

So there you have it! 

And look at the stamps! Lucky me, a friend gifted me with lots of vintage postage stamps.

I haven't made a lot of Mail Art lately, though I've done a few quick add and pass pieces, and one night I made a three ATCs. It did my heart good.

Hoping for better times for alll, so long for now.
