Ordered Chaos from Claudia and Angie (Snooky had nothing to do with this piece)

I thought both of these pieces were similar, given they are so layered with patterns and shapes. And Angie's piece looks like the man who struck the deal in his favor grinning maniacally  thank you both!

What you were wearing when you made the art is more relevant to the art than the art you made when you were wearing those clothes.

I think what you were wearing when you made the work is absolutely relevant. Creating the work is a performance. That's where the art is. What you mail is documentation & an artifact only.

Sometimes I do put on the Elgin Shroud. One sleeve & part of the front is gone from cutting it up & mailing it to people. But it is the Elgin Shroud.

One order of chaos coming up--would you like some confusion with that?

That's a great point Angie. Come to think of it, i was wearing a shirt with the exact pattern you created on it, and I did bargain with the man who sold it to me.

Who ordered Chaos? That's not on the menu.

It occurs to me that what we're wearing today is irrelevant. It's what we were wearing when we created and/or sent the pieces. Plus, maybe it's about what Diane's wearing.

I've read this three times and still can't at all imagine what  your sweater looks like Claudia, but it sounds like the two of you combine to make the perfect color wheel

I have on blue jeans, a green turtleneck, and a sweater made of self-striping yarn - brown, tan, ochre, olive green, and kind of a grayed lightish purple. This is the closest thing in my wardrobe to black, tan, and brown, as I think it over. So not an exact match but we would coordinate nicely, I think.

There's got to be some mail art in this. Somehow!

Brown, tan and black. Claudia?

Did you two plan what you were going to wear today?? I would bet money on the fact that you match:_)
