New MAIL Box full of MAIL Art from the MAIL Man :-)

I had to buy a new, larger mail box to place under my little box by the stairs of the apartment building. This is half A4 size, so it can handle mail art bigger than post card size. And it will store many days of mail while i am at the seaside shack for days/ weeks on end :-)

First mail art arrived from dear Valentine...a fun collage with a REAL coin and Her Majesty's not-so-real twenty pounds attached, to help the financial crisis of Greece, no doubt...and it wasn't  stolen, even with the extremely low wages of the Greek postal clerks .(Back to the 90's? We are definitely in our 60's :-)

They deliver d-mail because  Will was watching 'em!

Maybe they were more concerned with the gals on the flip side

to notice the money-in-the-mail! (Dean Marks has not succeeded in send cash ;-)

Thank you Val! Great fun collage!

And next in the mail box was a Niklas Reed drawing. Super!

It our ancient mailman...blogged earlier :-)

And there is a nice collection of Niklas' drawing here in Greece. Thank you so much! xxx

This is developing into a BLOG JAM! Here is some nice mail art from PostMuse, too!

A letter and a postcard arrived on the same day!!! Thank you, Bonnie Jean xxx

the letter came in a subtle brown envelope, with wonderful stamps on it! E.A.Poe and his raven?

And almost the end, but very important,  #910 of 1000 mail art from MIM! this is really interesting, Mim...not a Tiny Town, but very fascinating and "oriental"!

Speaking of the "orient"...an etegami from Deb Davidson also was in my new mail box!

'Love Dosankodebbie's art! Thank you ALL xxx

YEP, this became a real Blog Jam...many on blue cloth, so it is a :

And some mail art received today in the new green mail box:

From Valentine in France, a "Flamingo" (real feather!) for International Sketching Day, May 27, Greece

From Uli Grohmann in Germany, looking for eye glasses:

From Ana Kawajiri, also in France and her art also for Sketching Day:

Thank you all so much! xxx

Very nice, Carina...a mail box in beautiful nature! My mail box could not be bigger size (only half A4) because it is by the stairs of an apartment building and the regulations don't allow for any larger "obstacles"! But it is bigger than the little postcard-size mail boxes that all the apartment owners have. Mail art was always overflowing to the floor, so now it can fit inside....the new green mail box is just below that brown rail:

Mim, now i like that bamboo even more...it is from Paris! xxxx thank you!

My eraser stamps are being used on ALL sides!

Nice new mail box, nice new mail. I really like the way you carve your rubber stamps. Glad you like what I was able to come up with for that card. The base was half of a show card for a photo exhibit in Paris. Photos of bamboo. I was pleased with the way it turned out looking so 3D.
