My stamps back and much more - from Karen Champlin

An envelope with the Art Nation stamp is always a promise of something mind blowing, and I think this is one of Karen's very best. A simple cardboard offcut turned into the most beautiful piece of art. Well, I don't think it happened just like that, because there is actually a great deal of complexity in the various layers and textures. The unity of (very warm) tones makes them all come together very smoothly. Icing on the cake, Karen added two stamps from my previous envelope to her, and they couldn't fit better.
I have been looking at it for a while now, but I think this piece hasn't revealed all its mystery yet...
Thank you Karen, love it!

I'm glad you all like it. I sometimes wish I had an additional room to put everything I get on display. Sigh....

Ooooh Karen.  This is so complex and warm.  I love the ombre rick-rack, the rusty elements, I can't stop staring at it.

I like the warm tones too--cryptic and delicious

Wow, KC! I don't know how you did it, but you've managed to top yourself again!
