Returning from a weekend in the warm of Phoenix, AZ, I found my mailbox to be full of treasure!

From Katerina Nikoltsou, this lovely piece in deeply textured reds and blues, a Greek sunset with grasses around an overgrown ruin. This sunset hillside is the Greece of my dreams; I can almost feel the air and hear the noises of evening insects.

And the reverse, with greeting, many very cool stamps, and the words, "Sing, oh Muse!" which references a recent blog post wherein I describe a somewhat dysfunctional interaction with The Muse...

Mail art love...thank you Katerina!

And more mail art joy in a delightful handmade envelope and card, this arrived from Megan Henson, in Oregon.

I have a fondness for handmade envelopes. This lovely card is very deep.

Front and back...

Full of surprises, tucked inside I found this mini-postcard, and magnet/stamps...I would never have thought to make refrigerator magnets out of stamps!

Oops! I scanned one of the magnets upside-down, but I'm sure you get the picture. Thank you Megan!

And thank you both, again! A delightful surprise to come home to! I'll be seeing you two ladies in the mail!
