Who would not be excited at receiving an envelope like this: semi-transparent, to reveal promises of a special content.  Laurence's letter contained a range of goodies: An invitation to her two calls: Little Notebook of Curiosities and Anatomies, a torn page of an old encyclopedia, which I read as incentive to get started with collage making. The best of it all is a card tightly packed with images and patterns: vintage baby pictures, a mini playing card, lovely stamps and covers of Indian match books featuring a pecocks and swans, bits of washi tape, some beads. I love the eclectic combination of the vintage and  folksy and the friedly colours of yellow, pink, red and white. Such an array of small treasures, each and every one of them! Thank you so much, Laurence, your gifts made me very happy and inspired me to do more mail arting!
