Mail Received - Katerina from Greece

Christmas greetings arrived from Greece in a dark red envelope with Katerina - trademark stamps. I love how these stamps can be arranged and rearranged in ever new combinations.

Inside there is a charming collage, with a shiny red disk - a bauble, a red and orange sunset plus Santa and sparkle promising fun.

It is a lovely piece and it goes very well together with Mail Art Marthas golden apple. I have put the two cards together in a frame and now they cheer up my rather dark hallway! Thank you so much, Katerina!

Katerina, thanks for the translation - somehow my interpretation was in the right direction. I like how you use those stamps. I saw one in the trains group, where you made a long train with them, really fun.

Happy to see that it arrived, xxJones. Thanks for blogging!

Those stamps are made from carved erasers, and I like to

combine them from time to time.

The shiny circle is a "left-over" (can never throw away anything :-).

I cut hundreds for a capSOUL project, art-in-a-capsule, and while many

many were strung. there were also a lot remaining :
