Mail Art Exhibition in London

Hi there,

 

I have long had an idea to stage a mailart/stamp exhibiton here in London and when I saw that this group was marking three years on this Ning platform in November of this year I thought that would be an ideal opportunity to hold it and tie it in with that, what do you think?

 

What sort of exhibits would you like to see at such an exhibition and would you (pay! to) come to see it? Any ideas re. staging/funding/attending and offers of help/collaboration then please do get in touch.....

Ohh how I wish I was/were in London. Yes, I'd pay a reasonable fee to see this exhibit. As far as staging all I can say is I always prefer seeing things close up and in a circular type of arrangement. Also seating is good at a show. I hate having to stand up or obligated to keep moving. I'm a newcomer to this Union although I've been doing post cards etc for years because I'm ancient. I'm going to send you a little something like your stamps.

That sounds like a great idea - much easier to talk face to face! When are you and fellow mailartists planning on meeting and I will get that date in the diary? I'm keen to help out. I'm looking at the idea of bringing an Artomat to the UK at the moment too. A few mailartists are having a meetup in London in a few weeks time, why don't we meet up and talk about it face to face?
