Really lovely PC from Dean. The photo definitely doesn't do it justice. It says "Happiness is here and now."

Well that's too bad about the postmark.  But at least it turned out to be a good photo opportunity.

I would show you the postmark but I'm pretty certain it won't show up in a photo....

Sorry, I have another question.  I mailed it at the Eiffel Tower as I was over that way to have my tennis racket re-strung.  At one time the stamps were cancelled with a special postmark "Tour Eiffel Paris".  Do you think you could show us the cancelled stamp?  That is if they still have the special postmark "Tour Eiffel Paris.".

Long ago there was a post office on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower.  I had to pay, and then walk up to the first level (over 300 steps) to send my Christmas Cards.  As far as I know, the Eiffel Tower post office was replaced by this yellow post box at the South back leg.  But do they still use the special postmark "Tour Eiffel Paris".  I'm betting No.

Happy it arrived.  But did it arrive on the 29th or did I miss the deadline?

Thank you for the blog.
