Then you read the note tucked inside and realize that absolutely everybody is a tiny bit insecure about their artwork...

I once went to the home of a college friend for Easter--because I was too far away from home to easily make the trek to my parents' home--and as we were sitting at the dinner table in her Grandmother's stely southern home, my friend suddenly started hopping up and down in her seat and clapping her hands as she exclaimed, "Hoo-boy! Gramma made SPAM!" It was my first, and last, confrontation with the delicacy. Made only the more memorable by my friend's enthusiasm and excitement.

1. polish your shoes with it?

2. lubricate the door hinges?

3. do not feed it to your dog or cat or children
