Karnival of Trash Mail Art Call: Still Desperately Seeking the Miss Noma Fun Club (Las Vegas, Nevada, USA)

Unknown mail artist seeking the Miss Noma Fun Club (Las Vegas, Nevada, USA)

October 13, 2016 - What would the greatest Trashpo show on earth be without co-option by the ubiquitous and multi-faceted Miss Noma? The thought never crossed my mind when I launched the Karnival of Trash, but retro-futurist anti-logic foresaw all this, if only I had listened. But Miss Noma has been absent of late. I still have no insights into Miss Noma’s esoteric movements, but it makes for an even greater Karnival of Trash. So I proudly display another riddle inside a puzzle. What’s next? The Lone Gunman Neoist?

I do not believe “Kendall (?)” is a real person. I believe the address is fake. If anyone can provide any information, I would be pleased to know.

Furthermore, anything to do with Miss Noma seems to spell T-R-O-U-B-L-E.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, Richard.

I haven't taken Thom seriously or paid attention to his rants since the dreaded Fan Club Wars here at the now pristine IUOMA platform.

I am sure many hold me in equal contempt.

16.10.16 Dare De Villo Sloan, ...Thom Courcelle's "impertinence  & off-subject drivel" classicly suggests what we sometimes  refer to as as "an artist's eye"  &   or a "thinking artist"  & or a "playful mind".  Still yet another lesson in seeing. Thanks for posting & the commentary.  R.

Please excuse my impertinence and off-subject drivel... but does anyone else find the particular post office machine smudge-scrape on this postcard to be as fascinating as I find it??? HOW did the post office machine so PRECISELY make it's mark on the roadway of the arch bridge? It's like the postage machine was "erasing" the infrastructural route of travel over this particular scenic byway... Perhaps the guv'mint is giving us secret coded messages, confirming recent election conspiracy theories that warn us, "Don't go down THAT road!"  ...And what are we to make of the parallelogram that is SO BLATANTLY OBVIOUS in which the postal machine scrape-smudge-conspiracy-theory-confirmation-symbol mirrors the dark earthy matter at the top of the mesa in the background of the picture???? Could this be another coded message commenting on the "When they go low; we go high?" -metaphor???

The dubiousness of the mail art sender's credentials only elevates the possibilities of what this coded message might be revealing.

Further—and don't quote me on FOX NEWS or anything, but—I am pretty sure that I can see the extraterrestrials (or advanced inter-stellar astronauts, as the hipster UFO theorists are calling them these days) have started carving a facial figure on the wall of this river canyon...perhaps in reverence to the future political leader who will lead us to salvation through this contentious and uncivil election process (because obviously the little green men are time travelers...duh!). So we should be on the lookout for the person who looks like this stone-chiseled (or layered) visage, and thrust him or her into the fray as our only hope. THANK YOU INTER-STELLAR ASTRONAUTS FOR COMING TO OUR RESCUE!!!!

(I dunno...I think it looks a little like the Green Goblin,...but I swear, I'm not making any judgments on anyone's attractiveness or fitness to serve as our next overlord...I mean, fearless plutocrat monarchist...I mean, nation's leader... or whatever the new constitution identifies as that position...)

Perhaps Nevada will be the new capitol...
