This is a new/old US postage stamp

now $2 and self-stick type, but the original 1918 postage stamp

was misprinted on a rare few that now exist and it is

a "Jenny" airplane stamp worth millions! Thrilled to see

the the USA Post issued this anew!

Phillip Lerche of Columbus, Ohio, aka Finnbadger,

sent this on a folded triangle mail artpiece

that arrived today...very exciting to see!

Inside, minimal folded mail art,  rubber stamped and nice BLUE portrait artistamp.

Thank you, Phillip!

oops! Sorry 'bout that, PHILLIP!

Nothing marked on it...not even a cancel on the stamp,

just your "AIR MAIL" rubber stamp. Very clever triangle mail art! Thanks

Fascinating how the triangles generally make it through unharmed in any way.

PS My name is Phillip, not Richard.

The US Postal Service also created 100 special sets of this stamp (they are sold as a sheet of 6, so $12) with the plane the correct way, inserted randomly into the supply. About 20-25 have been found so far (that have been made public), and are selling for $40-50 thousand.

Needless to say,I have not been lucky!

I was wondering if this triangle had any postal markings on it? Most have traveled unmarked, a few have had some minor markings.
