I Went to Artpool in Budapest Hungary

Hello good people!

I recently went to Central Europe and was lucky enough to go to Artpool in Budapest. It was the best experience of my whole trip. I learned so much and realized I have so much more to learn. If you're interested in learning more about my visit, please follow the below link.

I did visit the archive of Guy Bleus in Belgium and for a short while was part of it......

@ Ti Ar Raden - I'm not sure how many people have had the chance to go by there. On their site they show quite a few people that have dropped in, but I don't recognize any of their names. The collection is quite extensive and dips around into a lot of avant-garde art so all types of folks come there to look for their specific  area of interest.

@Ruud - It really is worth the visit. I'm rather surprised that you haven't been able to make it there. Your name did come up in our discussion though.

Artpool is one of the major archives on Fluxus and Mail-Art.  When someone is in Europe, it is worth a visit. The galantai's have managed to let their collection be accepted by a larger art institute (museum) for the next generations, so all they collected will be preserved. I've been in contact with both for decades now. Always wonderful exchange of informations, never a meeting yet.......
