i'm guessing that your first comments refer to PG - you couldn't have been corresponding with DE in the late 80s as he died in 1977. (although stranger things have happened in the mail art world, right?)

i crossed paths with PG during the days of Stamp Francisco (90s?) - that's where i originally met Ruud, in fact. was not aware that he used Dadaland as a pseudonym. more edification; love that!

there's some good books on donald evans that are worth checking out.

Comment by Zack on October 3, 2023 at 8:25pm: the 'Mangiare' stamps are by Donald Evans (1945-1977) - 'a witty and whimsical artist who put his whole life and everything that interested him into the stamps of his fantasy world'. new to me. just more proof that Mail Art can be edifying.
