I love such "voyeurism".  I recently picked up a ledger and a common spiral bound notebook, each of which contained some notes and literature penned by the owners of same.  A zine I acquired in 1994 detailed a young couple, one of them the zinester herself, who attended an estate sale and were delighted to find an old, recently deceased woman's bird diary in which she detailed the behavior and day-to-day details of her interactions with her budgie/parakeet.  The woman who took the money for purchased items noted what they had picked out telling the young couple, "You must be a couple of them voyeurs".  They snickered and left even more happy with their purchase for having been so labelled.
