Horsing Around with Carina's Horse Mail

Super cool self-made envelope arrived from Carina Granlund in Finland, filled with cute and humorous fare. She included two newspaper comic strips from a Scandinavian newspaper. They appear to be annotated with dates (1956 and 1957) so perhaps they are clippings from a more classic era of cartooning!

As if there was any doubt, Carina let me know that "she made this." I often find myself envious of Carina's work, which is not only charming and funny, but often seems quite effortless in its charmingness and humor. Some people were just made to be artists...

"How much longer will this go on??!"  Well... if it's a question about how long a mail art correspondence can go on, I hope it NEVER ENDS!  MAIL ART FOREVER!!

...or at least as long as Richard has been doing mail art!!
