Heleen de Vaan: A Bag of Barcodes; Kids, don't try this at home

One hundred and seventy four grams (6.14oz) of barcodes.  I kid you not!  Heleen must have been saving these for years.  My advice is don't try this at home, they are truly addicting.  Of course this is the gross weight, they will need to be trimmed down and processed according to size and colour. And a few very rare ones as well.  I have never seen one without the numbers at the bottom.Even the HdV creature has gone Barcode crazy. And even Blob & Blobvis go underwater searching for new barcodes.

Thank you Heleen.  Although I do feel guilty you spending hard earned guilders to send them to me.  But you can be reassured they will be turned into something someday.

Intellectual notes: One of the barcode themes is that the barcodes are personal to ones own consumption and reflects that persons decisions in Supermarket Life.  Or some type of arty Bla Bla like that.  I'll have to work on the text & thought more.

Everything has barcodes on 'em...and I cannot throw one away, they always say to me:

"cut me, cut me...send me to the Artist in Seine...I wanna go to Paris" :-)

What a fantastic hoard of barcodes that Heleen sent. 'Like the "tree"!

Sure all are here due to own consumption (o.k., thanks to some close family members - consuming barcodepackagingcontent here in da house - too).
Only exception is a barcode which I've found today and which I'll enclose in the next badge which I'll ship to you in one of the coming weeks. Curious to know if you'll recognize that one.
