Comment by Nancy Bell Scott on March 27, 2014 at 11:26pm: Hi, thank you Michalis + friends--Erni, your fungi analogy is an honor and a riot! I'm sorry to be late. That first piece is a marbled paper. Long ago in a handmade-paper class the guy had marbling vats in his studio and let us fool around with them. One from that day turns up occasionally in the vast, hopeless, endless piles + bins that surround me now, haha. Wish I could remember how it was done, for I'd certainly tell you.
