Oh, it's a  great idea to do ebru ( this is how this technique is called in Turkey)   on handmade paper. İ  will definitively give a try.

Hi, thank you Michalis + friends--Erni, your fungi analogy is an honor and a riot! I'm sorry to be late. That first piece is a marbled paper. Long ago in a handmade-paper class the guy had marbling vats in his studio and let us fool around with them. One from that day turns up occasionally in the vast, hopeless, endless piles + bins that surround me now, haha. Wish I could remember how it was done, for I'd certainly tell you.
