March 2019 Mail Art from Jorge Martin...

This is my first piece of m-a from Jorge Martin, a fellow IUOMA member. Jorge's "DADA" collage is composed of elements like: paint, red duct tape, doodling (or perhaps asemic writing), and various scraps of ephemera (postage stamps, book & magazine clippings). A view of the backside tells us that Jorge used recycled paper for the substrate - a utility 'safety notice.'

Details - DADA...Wait ... "Decorating?"

If you're familiar with my art, you will know that I do a great deal of collage work. Jorge's DADA piece is quite similar to my style, imho.

Details - "Loosen tight clothing."

Details - "Mail Observation." Is that asemic writing in the upper left corner?
