At the end of 2011 we were invited to set up a vending machine in the Picture Book Museum in Troisdorf. The exclusive museum for book illustration in Troisdorf is a highly recommended place for art lovers. The museum is also well visited by younger generations. The management suggested developing a series especially for children and young people and we looked for very young talents who were willing to publish a series. There was great willingness. Full of confidence, we set up the vending machine so that it could also exclusively offer paintings and objects by young artists.
To everyone's surprise, however, the young visitors to the museum decided to buy the contemporary art of the "adults". So we had learned something new again.
Now some collectors are intensively searching for the last available examples of these art genres. We can say that every work has an interested party, the question is whether they can become aware of the work (Juan Petry).
