Fire Monkey Body Surfing the Great Wave - from RCBz

I sometimes wish RCBz would be around to tell us more about his pieces. I know I really like this card, but I can't explain exactly why. Esthetically, Hokusai's wave is always a winner. The card is built very simply around it. No frills whatsoever, and the back of the card is equally sober, stripped-down to the address. Is is a reference to the tsunami? Why the monkey? Why on fire? In any case, it's another great card by RCBz, thank you for sending!

He's so meticulous that I think there is usually a reasoned explanation, but I just enjoy the surrealism of it. I don't identify with everything he does, but this one is definitely a fav.
