"Fear No Art" by Mars Tokyo (Baltimore, Maryland, USA)

Mail art by IUOMA member Mars Tokyo (Baltimore, Maryland, USA)

June 4, 2015 - I am thrilled to have received another collage by Mars Tokyo in Baltimore. She has stellar work currently circulating that is turning up on the various, online mail art venues. This piece – on an oversized postcard – focuses on faces, masking, fear and expression. I believe it can certainly be viewed as a commentary of some of the unsettling icons emerging in the media. Mars Tokyo’s art is always thoughtful and well-executed (pun partially intentional).

Many thanks to Mars Tokyo!
