April 17, 2014 - Moan Lisa’s (Des Moines, Iowa, USA) Fake Andy Warhol project in recent months has captured the imaginations of numerous mail-artists. Ingenious Andy Warhol copies and parodies are circulating throughout the Eternal Network. liketelevisionsnow is a talented artist and gifted conceptualist. I was thrilled to receive this piece from him and see his unique take on the fake Warhol phenom.

As ever, liketelevisionsnow provides a beautifully made piece with a dash of the cryptic and a pinch of the absurd. The insatiable machine is certainly being fed with fakes these days. We see plenty of Warhols as well as Diane Keys fakes, Eduardo Cardoso fakes and Richard Canard fakes, to name a few. And we have the case of a new wave of fake identities emerging.
