OK, I'll admit it, the title; "The path never taken", I made up myself.  It was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw it.  This is a wonderful piece, delicate and with moment. I just have to show you the detail of the stitching.  Amazing.

Thank you Emily, and remember, "A stitch in time saves nine".

That part I didn't make up.  It means a little effort expended sooner to fix a small problem prevents it from becoming a larger problem requiring more effort to fix later.  But now we have a larger problem that is we all want to see more of Emily's Mail Art.

No rest for the wicket!  (I think this could be a Cricket saying, but works for stitching as well.)

OH WOw, It looked like tracing paper.    I'll have to look at it a bit closer.  This adds a new dimension.

Brilliant idea.

Currently it is resting on my night stand.

Thanks for blogging, Dean.

This is one of my teabag pieces. The brownish, transparent background paper started life as a bag of green tea with mint - yummy!

Thanks for showing the closeup - in the first picture you can't even tell it is stitching - genius work.
