I go down to the mailbox, cool wind in my hair. Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air.Inside of the mailbox, I saw a shimmering light. My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim.I had to blog this just right. There she stood in the doorway; I heard the mission bell.
And I was thinking to myself, "This could be Heaven or this could be Hell" "Relax, " said the Postman, "We are programmed to receive.
You can wash those dirty clothes any time you like, But you can never leave! " Da Da Da (Followed by a very long guitar solo)
A brilliant piece of Mail Art. Thank you David. "Lift here to discover" always brings out a different man within me. Can't get those eyes off her.

And also thanks to Katerina and Richard. Richard, that habitual playfulness has elsewhere been described as "being stoned all the time." On life of course.
I missed this....thank you so much, Dean. The Mermaid came from an old Harpers Bazaar from the 80s. I am now old enough to have magazine collections that are transitioning to ephemera right before my eyes. Hotel California! Yes, quel' appropriate as they say in Dubuque. He sings: "I stole toiletries from Hotel California, such a lovely scent, took so long to ferment...."
Thanks again, Dean.
BTW, the place we stayed is Hotel Kensington on Avenue de la Bourdonaise Duquesne.
20.10.15 Dare Dean aka, ...oh, no, no. ...I'm quite content with the current flapping. Ave uh nez dae. Richard
Forever means Forever, unless of course China invades the US. I surely wouldn't want to be at the negotiation table then and having to explain that the Forever Stamps must still be honoured.
And yes, I loved the gaudy marbles man, but the wash machine was a bit of a let down. Surely Mr. Duck would have found something entirely different to put under the flap. But What? And will we ever find out?
19.10.15 Dare Dean aka, ... I really admire the way David Stafford sees the world & his spirit of habitual playfulness. ... plus his comment about the" gaudy marbles" ---but what to do & not to worry? ...It is labeled as "Forever" despite the fact that we all know it is subject to change. Thanx for posting. Richard C.
