Collage and trashpo treasures from Erni Bar

Fantastic collages--they knocked my sox off.

Next come the latest crushed cans from Erni, always a thrill, and in this group the one at the upper right especially kills me. It is so flat--flatter than usual--and some of it seems to be missing in the crushedness, almost as though it has been chewed by a monster. I'm guessing it was attacked by a mountain lion on the streets of Hamburg:

Darn it! Wrong side of that can! Just re-scanned, here is this beauty:

Erni posted a photo of a big box of discards he came across in his wanderings and said he was sending me one item from the box. I said Good, so long as it's not that "Baby Names" book on top. After all, I'm not planning any babies. Tragically, that's exactly what he was sending me. It was the rudest thing I did anywhere that day. Of course, Erni knows potential when he sees it, and the book turned out to be "New, Historical, Ancient & Mystical Best Exotic Baby Names"--full of great text and tidbits for use in mail art, as you can see:

Here is the whole collection that arrived that day, wrapped individually as presents. What a guy. Thank you again, Erni!

(Ack, out of image space, am posting in first comment.)

Neither my scanner nor my camera ever do justice to what you send me, Erni. It's a good thing you're an expert photographer. Did you listen to the CD? Are you a hip-hop fan?

The whole group on the day it all arrived:

The neon green hand is a favorite, with the missing middle finger (what a tragedy). The CD is apparently by Snooky, a well-guarded secret by Angie. Amazing that Erni found it in Hamburg. Snooky must be famous in some parts of Europe. Why, I don't know. I listened to it for about two minutes and then my ears screamed.
