OOPS! The above may be "ala Da Vinci" backwards...
as the paper is transparently thin !
The below image is the correct way to read Cheryl's writing...of course:
Beautiful calligraphy, but does it "say" something?
Tis a mystery to be solved....and I love mysteries!:
Nothing is lost-in-translation...wait , be patient,
and the meaning will be apparent soon :-)
Along with this great "Mail Art Makes the World a Town" Zine Edition 1:
came an attached envelope in the back:
with beautiful BLUE card...FAB! "Blue World"
and this"Sing a Song of Six Stamps"...fantastic!!!:
and the written note in Cheryl's fine penmanship...!
Ah, always a joy to have these fish from South Africa swim to Greece!
Thank you , Cheryl! xxx
Comment
I can read it!
No not really...
If Cheryl wants to say something that we have to understand ie collaboration instructions, then she has to type it because her handwriting is so undecipherable! It always has been and always will, never going to change! Cheryl did you ever write love letters because those poor boys must have run a mile rather than pretend they knew what you were saying?? Gotta love ya!
Hello :-) - I'm laughing at you two! OF COURSE I say something! IF anyone manages to read them, I shall have to get a little more obscure :-)) X
I've looked at Cheryl's notes "from both sides now, from in and out but still somehow...
it's life's illusions I recall...I really don't know her notes, at all"
Or do I? :-)
Katerina, these notes & messages Cheryl sends, at least until recently, were meant to say something. No one can read them, so maybe she's being a little more asemic. Not long ago she mentioned experiementing with writing backwards, so maybe you're supposed to look at boths side. You could try looking at it in a mirror too.
You know - I think I am going to start a Cheryl Penn Asemic Translation Prize in the asemics group.
I defy anyone to translate her notes.
