***SPOILER ALERT: Don't read if you wish to discover the secret of the "Most Valuable Stamp Mystery" on your own!  

I get home from a workday I'd like to forget, and what's waiting for me in my mailbox?  Hmmm... a non-descript envelope, no return address.  I crack open a bottle of Big Sky Summer Honey Ale -- 'cause it's been that kinda day -- open the envelope, which is full of cut-up pieces of paper... unfold them and the enclosed "anonymous" note, and literally BLOW BEER SUDS OUT MY NOSE IN LAUGHTER!

 

A week ago, I received the exhibition poster that many others of you undoubtedly received, too... with curiously gaping spaces where a mystery postal interlocutor had tampered and "stolen" the most important depictions from the "World's Most Valuable Stamps" exhibition poster.  THAT IN ITSELF WAS BRILLIANT ENOUGH.

 

BUT TODAY!!!!!... I get this envelope with an apologetic letter stating, "I thought these stamps was worth somethin but No says the Man at the stamp store they Are just repos...  sorry."

 

Undoubtedly one of the most inventive mail art "projects" EVER!!!!  Thank you for cleaning out my sinuses, Carl! Love and "snaps" to you my fellow Seattle-ite!
