buz blurr: People, Portraits and Polaroid Derivatives

The culmination of a call for art that was initiated in November of 2021. The Sticker Dude Joel Cohen and myself decided we wanted to pay homage to buz blurr in the way of a one of a kind perforated artistamp book of Buz's portraits over the years. Focusing specifically on his self portraits and homage portraits done by other of him. The call was to send us any images you had of these portraits via post or email. The call ended March 15th of this year and there began an extensive process of combing through all the images received and organizing them into a cohesive idea/project. Months of late night back and forths, editing, proofing etc.. has finally come to fruition. Joel (being a printer) was able to get everything printed at his old shop. Once printed everything was sent to me. I began perforating pages, nearly 2000 in total. From there the project was bound and send out last week. I am incredibly proud of Joel and i's accomplishment here, bringing together an amazing collection of portraits as far back as his 36th birthday portrait, to his most recent he fished for his 87th Birthday (which we had incorporated into the envelope because it was last week!) day portrait!
