Beatific Trash & Pass from Borderline Grafix (Austin, Texas, USA) - cosmic chakra vision of Diane Keys, DKult chapter map

Mail-art by IUOMA member Borderline Grafix (Austin, Texas, USA)

February 6, 2014 - The December 2013 issue of the DKULTNY Trashpo Fanzine included a minimal Trash & Pass sheet. Borderline Grafix sent this absolutely stellar response, which I am pulling from circulation and placing in the hallowed DKULTNY archives as I see it as a finished work. You can find the basic Trash & Pass here:

http://iuoma-network.ning.com/profiles/blogs/dkultny-trashpo-fanzin...

The original included Dark wall's "Karmic Chakra Vision of DK." Borderline Grafix took the concept and ran with it, enhancing the vision and expanding it to a global, panoramic view of the DKult chapters and Trashpo network. Dark wall is VP & Customer Service Rep for D-Kollectibles, a DKULTNY subdivision that deals in Trashpo memorabilia. Here is the reverse side of the Trash and Pass:

The envelope also included a slip of paper bearing the address of the French mail-artist Yves Maraux, a Trash Poet in good standing. Maybe the suggestion is to pass this on to Yves, but he will just have to receive something else. It is also a nice bit of Trashpo:

And the reverse:

Drop Yves a line. He is a great guy and natural DaDaist.

Borderline Grafix, accomplished mail-artist that he is, always makes great use of envelopes; and this is no exception. The nod to Dark wall is deeply appreciated at MinXus-Lynxus. Borderline Grafix is also very generous about displaying his MinXus stamp. Along with E-Ambassador of Utopia (France), Vizma Bruns (Australia), Uli Grohmann (Germany), Rebecca Guyver (UK) and Empress Marie (Japan) (along with a few others) - Borderline Grafix has an officially approved MinXus stamp. (This is separate from the Secret Order of the Tangerine Mink.)

Wonderful mail-art, concept art and Post-Neoism.

Thanks as ever to Borderline Grafix.

Right DK, it reminds me of one of those old maps of the world before Columbus, but I think the whole thing is meant to reflect Dark wall's altered state of consciousness. You have the UK, USA & Australia but not DKunst or Latvia and some of the smaller chapters.

KDJ is floundering right now. She started a band or something. It's sort of like Elvis when he couldn't finish songs. Most people now don't realize she's a really, really good artist.

it's the first flow chart of all DKult locations although not all inclusive I don't think. I'm just not that organized and KDJ has been slacking on the administrative end of things.  yes, Angie and Snooky are DKULTWI

Thanks Rebecca, the chapter map is very interesting. DKUK (which must be DKult UK) is southeast 0f DKCA - DKult California - which is Not Hi Ng and others I suppose. He made DKIllusion for Richard Canard - that's what it must be. There's a Wisconsin chapter? I suppose Angie & Snooker. A tremendously thoughtful piece.

Thanks Diane & Carina.

BG has built a lot into this. Note the "fake pone" in the upper right-hand corner.
