Arty Slide / Schilling from Val, France

Must be the football disaster from last month but I completely forgot to blog this 'verrukkelijk' (= gorgeous) arty slide piece from Val. And it is so wonderful! 

Now... Val used to live in the very south part of the Netherlands in a city called Maastricht. I grew up about 60 kilometer north from Maastricht. Val and I never met until here on the Mail Art Ning.

Maastricht is an atypical Dutch city, as it is more bourgondisch than the rest. It makes it a very special place to visit. I myself are not so charmed by the patriotic Maastreechteneers, but that is another and personal story, hihi.

Look carefully, as I will only say this once: at first I didn't notice the coin at all but it is sooooooo special. It is an Austrian Schilling. My surname is plural Schilling. It is even spelled correctly. Cool Val. Heel erg bedankt.
