An early winter sunset - from Katerina Nikoltsou

A piece of Greek beauty arrived in my mailbox the other day. A big slice of warm and luscious Greek sunset. And I should add, fragrant (I'm guessing cinnamon this time?). The painting is a perfect dégradé of orange in thick brush strokes. Wouldn't it be great to sip a tea at a table outside a café in front of the sea, best seat of the theater? I actually feel like I am there, in Thessaloniki, witnessing the sun going down between trees. The envelope with delicate blue trees was a prediction to this scenery, without spoiling the surprise of the glorious red evening.
FEmail art rocks, Katerina, thank you so much for sending!
