Thank you Sloan! Yes, it is stitching, and yes, it is a true prelude. The psychic was right, I am not done with holes. All I can say is watch out for some angry mail from me.
(oh yes, I yet have to post what I did with that Japanese radish, sorry, crimson giant..)

Hi Marie, nice piece. Is that stitching? The red threads look great? Is this a self-contained piece? Or is it a prelude to more pieces involving holes? I thought you were working mostly with radishes now and had climbed out of your holes.
