Glad to hear it. Love them pears. Yes it was difficult for me to stop adding stamps to the envelope.

I think I know which ones you are talking about: a lemon, a strawberry, some grapes? I didn't know about John Burgoyne or Cook's Illustrated Magic, so that's fun to learn something new.

Yeahhhh I don't always get the best vibes from going inside the post office. And it feels rushed or disappointing looking at the stamps they have for sale there. I prefer going online to the USPS store. That way I can take my time. Why's the clerk bitter?

110% satisfaction - was reminded and inspired to purchase more usps stamps by your envelope. My lovely friend the bitter postal clerk informs me that the supervisor in charge of ordering for my branch has no joy and only stocks the plainest. Those beautiful 10 cent pears are still in stock online, as well as some other values of fruit art by John Burgoyne. It's hard to stop adding things to the cart... I researched the artist as his style is familiar - turns out he's the one that does lovely covers for Cook's Illustrated Magazine that I've had for years.

Yes thanks. Someone sent me a bunch of old US postage stamps in the past. I think they're still good for sending letters, though the one I added here was not necessary for the cost of mailing.

Also, I thought it would be fun to make random combinations of text and animal rubber stamps. It's a way to quickly make a lot of new art for mailing.
