It speaks for itself. this book is so delicate, rich, and decidedly feminine. The back page is coated in beeswax giving it a smooth texture. love the thread, gauzy tissue paper, and photography. I really love this cross section of one of her larger pieces and the asemic elements really hit on a subconscious level. I felt pure raw emotion when I opened this. thank you so much Cheryl!

I got so hung up on Cheryl's handwriting - it is a beautiful book. Displayed on DK's grunge milk container is a nice contrast. Did anyone notice Coleman spelled backwards is Nameloc? You think that's a coincidence?

Thank you Cheryl for this excellent handwriting sample for analysis. My experts have confirmed that this is NOT Cheryl Penn's handwriting. The typing is hers, but the asemic has been narrowed down to: Charles Manson or Angry Monkeys or both. They could be wrong as I hired them off Craig's list, but no word on what it says. DVS, agreed that denial of mail art in jail violates civil liberties. I hear they have had a lot of confessions since threatened with no more stamps.

OK I think this is actually the respondent's Granny's recipe for Waterblommetjie Bredie....

Unfairly incarcerated mail-artist seeks add-and-pass projects on theme of the Beatles' White Album: Send to Charlie, c/o San Quentin...

DK, you did mention the CP-SA mail-art problems for all our mail-art brothers and sisters who are behind bars - falsely imprisoned by the Iron Hand of Big Brother, I'm sure. Eating roadkill is one thing. Being denied mail-art in the Big House is another.
