Ed Giececk, the backbone of my Add and Pass hobby, sent me this envelope with a mighty egghead, and two Add&Pass pages and an Add&Pass booklet made from his incoming envelopes.…Continue

Received big ol’ envelope from Bill. Ain’t it purty? Watercolored ink drawing, artistamp, and a spiffy sticker. Inside, a stash of watercolored artistamps made by Mr. Olathe himself and a page of perforated collages.…Continue

I received this very interesting postcard from David. The front has layers that I think may include tiny words here and there. I have looked and looked but still am not sure. The back is a stylized skull with the words, “LART EST MORT.”…Continue

Fleur sent a patterned envelope including an Add&Pass booklet made by ex posto facto—the cover made from one of epf’s
Fluxus Bucks— and some nice pieces of mailart ephemera.

From my same city neighbor, I received a colorful envelope, a page of anagrams (great gift for someone who likes words as I do), and a new handmade bookmark to add to my growing collection. We go through many books at my house.

I am deeply honored to have been given the appellation of egg head!
Because...wait for it...egg head’zz are schmart. And because I am in such good company!
Mike’s sewing is getting fancier by the minute! I’m going to send him some pants that need to be hemmed! In the meantime, he’s sent me this card with secret code embedded in the address and a variety of postage stamps with decorative stitching at the edges.…Continue

My favorite color scheme, to start with! Dashing design of how time adds up and flies away. And a singular address arrangement, unlike anything I can sneak past our post office!
You lucky devil, you! I put the address of an intended recipient on the front of a mailart envelope and my return address on the back along with various doodads, rubberstampings, and artistamps...
et Voila! My mail arrived backin my very own mailbox four days later, saving the intended reader the…Continue

Man, what would I do without Ed? He’s the reason I have become obsessed with Add&Pass. I look forward to those hand painted, giant rubber stamped envelopes like you wouldn’t believe. Never met the guy, but he feels like an old friend, maybe because we like the same musicians. I’m waiting for a Leonard Cohen Ed-carved to show up some time.
Anyway, Mr. Ed’s latest mailing. Are you jealous?…Continue

The lion on the envelope looks similar to one that I think I saw on a calendar envelope I sent ou. “NewYorker” magazine?
I don’t do ATCs but I just want to carry this one in my wallet. Very nice, Toni!
And I appreciate your sharing the artistamps. I’m always torn between putting them all on an envelope or keeping them all to myself…Continue

Library Card No.1
Please note the details. The address appears across the top of the card above two very small people reading books. It makes me happy that tiny people have tiny books available for reading and that they can find furniture that allows them to sit comfortably with their feet on the floor. I am considered average size and have to perch on the edge of chairs to do the same.
Very impressive artistamps. I’m going to start wearing cucumberslices with binder clips on…Continue

That’s a honey of a card! Now I can add “cowbees” to my vocabulary and drive Scrabble opponents crazy when they challenge me for proof that such things exist. See, I told you so!
I also have a sticker to put on my chest for days when I don’t want to talk to people but do want to greet them politely. An I can finally see things in 3D, saving me from bruises from walking up to things versus walking into things.
All quite utilitarian.…Continue

I have never received such an elegantly folded envelope! It’s tucked into a sleeve so it doesn’t come apart. First picture is from of envelope and “Grocery bag Scribblle.”
Next is back of the envelope and a short letter…Continue

I’m grateful for every piece of mailart people share with me and I want to thank them all. In the last few days, there’s been a lot of happiness coming to my mailbox, but it’s been a little hard to keep up. My little sister, a grandmother already, died suddenly a few days ago,and it’s been hard to wrap my head around that.
This, of course comes right in the middle of all the busyness we all deal with: dental work, computer issues, my ministry, and our son’s coming home to take care…Continue
We’re invited to a round robin collage project! We will take a collage bit or two, add to the collage card in eight quadrants, and return when done. The part we will work on is the card with turquoise and gold just under the big envelope.

Envelope with stamps rubber and artistically printed, an Add&Pass that flew to Argentina and has circled back, and a sweet note on collages postcard.

Fleur sent me a full blown Add&Pass to savor, and one I can work on. I think the finished one is Ed’s, so I will be returning it to him.
