MIM arrives down under

A great handmade envelope from Mim , filled with this wonderful card on watercolour paper and delicious bits from old French books, personal photographs, and of course the signature discs of paper arrived in the mail a few days ago.  I intend to use some of the contents together with some of my own papers to make a special little book of collage and drawings.…

Stories of the burning bush from Mim, plus 3 French stamps, two turtle doves ...

Actually the main part of this is the envelope which is so amazing that the post person forgot to cancel the stamps.  Bingo!  In side was a thank note and 3 French stamps (one is hidding on the photo) leftover from her stay in Paris.  And where did she find Eiffel tower tape?…

Mim's scraps and stamp

I was the very lucky recipient of the MAILART 365 stamp that Mim offered as a prize to those of us still making mailart every day for a year once she had finished. Not only did I get the stamp, I also got a wonderful jiffy bag full of precious scraps.  I pulled out some of the scraps one by one and laid them down on the scanner randomly and this is what I got when I download…
