There's a story behind this,

An enormous shell appeared one day. No one knew who put it

there or even HOW it was put there. It was quite an inconvenience.

Too heavy to move, it remains there.…

People gathered at the lookout to observe the new Shell Building. It was a bit over-whelming and they hoped it was stable, as winds were strong.

For a long time, I've been altering vintage postcards, usually fairly boring ones, with the addition of a piece of art. I have a lot of fun finding just the right piece, with the right angle, to set into the landscape. This is one I did last fall. I'd been cutting shells out of a book and thought they'd be perfect for this.
