OH Why OH why does Cheryl torture me this way.  Yes another wonderful painting cut up into pieces and sent all over the world.  You got to admit it, the lady has a great style.  I just keep telling myself; “ be grateful for the piece you received”, “artist have the power to do whatever they want with their own work”, I can’t wait to meet her and hit her with a newspaper.  Bad Girl, Bad Girl.…

Although it kills me to imagine Cheryl cutting up her paintings, I have come to terms with it now and it no longer gives me nightmares.  And an original Cheryl Penn is worth its weight in gold as far as I am concerned.  And with the current gold prices I estimate this to be about $2.72 USD.  So if the other nine people who received a piece of this painting would like to send me their piece, I will happily send them a cheque.  But could you please wait until the end of the month before…

Music was the first theme for the official kick off of Cheryl's New Alexandrian Library. She is sending one of her books back for every work she is getting, and as usual I'm on the winning side. Her book is an ode to music, to the poetry in all music, to its many facets.…

Cheryl's art work always leaves me with a buzz.

Ok this was the pieces that confirmed what I had been wondering for a long time now.  Cheryl is not a "Sunday painter".  Not that I have anything against Sunday painters.  All art is good.  What I mean is Cheryl can see these images in her head and paint them.

   Well Cheryl didn't really have this image in her head.  It came as a A3 size painting, and when I scanned it twice on my A4 scanner, something went wrong.
