Ana Kawajira: Swings some hot Mail Art

In Paris, only down the street for me resides a Mail Artist that keeps me on my toes.  Within Paris, if you send Mail Art  before 6pm, the other person will have it the next morning.

     Ana has recently sent me two pieces that had me running back to old art books.  The first is her own version of a work of art by Marcel Duchamps first conceived in 1919.  (Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa onto which Duchamp drew a moustache and beard in pencil.)

Great mailart by some great mailartists...A huge thank-you to Vizma, Cheryl, Katerina and Ana Karina

To start here is the back of Vizma's envelope declaring it a two-for-one with a warning.  She warns me not to fall for the really bad pick-up line inside,
