A wonderful package from Peg today. A couple of ATC tri-jams for me to take part in. A nice little haul of american quarters to add to my state quarter collection map folder I just need to unstick them from the paper to add them to the folder and to mark them from my list in my profile, lol. Also a nice handmade card with a matching atc for my collection.
I do love getting fun things in the mail, it really does make me happy.…

Ive got a few manufactured rubber artistamps that I sometimes use. I recently managed to get hold of a pair of sizzix dies to use in my Big shot die cutting/embossing machine. They did cost me a small fortune as they are a retired dies set and there was a 4 way fight for this particular auction - needless to say, with coaching from my dearest husband, I won them at a cost, but I did really want them.…

After recieving a beautiful postcard from Olena (see a previous blog post) I remembered that I had a gelli printing mat that I have hardly used in the few years I've owned it. So I dug it out along with my acrylic paints to run off a few simple textured prints onto some pages from a damaged book I have laying around for such art.
I'm a little out of practice and I also need to accumilate some more printing mask stencils and textures for varied prints, but Its fun to do.
I used…

Recieved a lovely surprise from Jennifer Wallace.
She sent me a friendly letter, one of her zines and a mail art exhibition zine. Also included was a beautiful scenic art print of Beaumaris Pier. I definantly need to find a photo frame for this as i want to put it up on the wall in my craft desk corner.
Its my wall for things i enjoy. I currently only have a couple of hagrid and luna postcards from when I visited the HP experience, a hand written and decorated poem for me by my…

A few years ago I got hold of this big square book that was badly damaged. I decided to fix up the broken spine and the pages that had seperated from the spine Then I started to art up the board cover.I painted the boards black and then used some sheets of handmade papers that were earthy greens and red/browns, and a large formica sample.…

I found these in a box of partially created mail art projects from way back in about 2010-2012.
These particular books were from a boxed set of kids mini board book picture stories that I picked up from a charity shop. I must have been in a chocolate mood at the time as I used different chocolate bar wrappers to cover the books and the box.
Im…

Ive discovered I have too many never used postacrsd from my postcrossing days and many of them are damaged or are very boring common images. So Ive decided to get down to mail art business with creating some altered art collages to give the postcards a new lease of life.
