Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
I like working with my hands and appreciate art in many forms. I'm open to receiving cool correspondence and creations through the post. I was introduced to mail art by my wife. Mail art is therapeutic for me. I'm an engineer and hacker in San Francisco, California. I spent my young summers deconstructing computers, building houses and restoring old cars. I loved woodworking and carpentry and think mail art is like a paper form of those crafts.

My favorite topics/things: hacking, computer security, technology, travel, world affairs, hiking, fish, anything Pisces, Bessarabia, Turkish, cooking, recipes, stamps, washi tape, ink, photography, etc.

Oooh, I love the circles postcard you sent me! It's sort of moon phases, but then not really. There are some wonderful shapes. The blue background is sparkly and wonderful! Thanks!

Hello J.A.D. thanks for the "surfs up" mail art, love it. I'll be sending you something, I take a while but it will come :-)

J.A.D., thanks for the fascinating mail art! The postage stamps that are photocopied on very dark graph paper (maybe that's how that was made, I'm not sure) are especially intriguing. They invite very close looking, which I really like. Nice Trolly Car ticket, as well, with more postage! I'm making note of  your new address.

I got your piece sent in earlier this week, I've just been pretty busy lately and will be for the next couple of days, (moving, ugh) but once I'm all settled, I'll post up a picture of what you sent in to share it with everyone and all, but for the moment, thanks a bunch!
