Bonjour Viz the Biz! I thought they were unrollable. Did you succeed in rolling one in Adelaide? They haven't been made for 20+ years, and so I wonder if I somehow manage to roll mine -- and survive: remember it only has a cloth 'lid' and no romm bar -- do you think Mr Citroen would give me a new model instead?

Regards, Val

PS still no mail from you, alas

Apparently if you roll a 2CV, Citroen give you a new one. Oh the fun my friend and I had in our teens trying to roll her dad's 2CV in the streets of Adelaide after the pub! Joyous times.

Bonjour Vizma, I have a 2 CV. It is bright orange and it's called 'Oranje', and is my pride and joy. It's almost 27 years old and still goes very well indeed. (I am somewhat older and rather less mechanically efficient these days). Regards, Val

PS the brown envelope bottom right features me as 'The rainbow Warrior' in brightly knitted pullover, hat and scarf.

I love the 2CV in the background!

Never having seen you in this hat and bow-tie, Val, I'm very glad you posted this picture (and love the envelopes display).
