Comment by Ian C Dengler on February 8, 2015 at 5:49pm: This is a series on valentines, each in a different color. Today is the BLACK HEART valentine. All my stamps are designed as riddles: there's a black valentine washed up on the shore. Is that oil? Is that patriarchal capitalism? There's a woman, or maybe that's a transgender male. Or maybe just the many overweight who don't exercise enough and then they think they have found BLACK GOLD (that's the gold trimmed valentine in the stamp): oh: gas prices have gone down! let's frack! and then there's fatty stuff floating in our veins. Who is to blame ageism, for the body? But then, who enjoys the fruits de mer of Oil, Coal, the Gold of the Earth? Women live longer in the West, so are they the surviving singletons of the Love of Money? Wazzit? means, what is that? how do you raise consciousness? Less than a quarter of women in the US identify themselves with Feminism, at least as a term. Perhaps we need a more systematic consciousness raising. This is the Valentine with the most possible riddle solutions. The valentines to follow will be in yellow, green, purple, blue, red and shitty brown: oh, that will be the one without a visible heart ("Oh shit! I'm still waiting! Maybe I won't get one!") Valentines are the "Heart's Desire", and the idea of this series was to do everything people love, hope to love, or love to hope for, including anger, patriotism, sex, health, pets, and MONEY (yellow gold valentine)
